1948
Fred Hengehold founded Hengehold Motor Company
Located on El Camino Real in Palo Alto, California.
1965
Dealership relocates from El Camino Real to San Antonio Rd.
A move to expand and serve a growing community.
1966
Jim Hengehold graduates from Santa Clara University and joins the business.
The second generation begins to build the family company.
1971
Dave Hengehold joins the business.
Further strengthening the family-led model of service.
1992-1996
Third generation joins the business.
Dave’s daughters Chrissy and Lisa join the firm.
1998
Hengehold celebrates 50 years in business.
Celebrating 5 decades of trust, across 3 generations.
2001-2003
Matt Hengehold & Annie Hengehold, Jim’s children, join the business.
